Live at Cat Daddy's
This CD was recorded at Cat Daddy’s, a cool blues joint in Montgomery, on a couple of steamy Alabama summer nights almost 30 years ago. The bonus track, “Tell Mama,” was recorded at Birmingham’s storied club “The Nick.” This album captures a moment in time, and the energy of our band that gained regional popularity during two decades of running the roads. Over this time we had many outstanding band members. Alabama is blessed with so much great musical talent, and it warms our hearts to acknowledge our Kokomo musician family, some of whom are already gone but will never be forgotten.
Live at Cat Daddy’s was released on October 5, 2024, at the 21st Chukker Reunion and the 68th anniversary since its opening! This seemed so fitting as the Chukker was our “local” where we got our start, and where we so often performed with Johnny Shines.
